Krawdaddy's 98 Dakota

This was my baby. My sister in AZ now owns it.  I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler now!

It is a 98 RC Dodge Dakota with the 5.2l 318ci Magnum V8.  It came with the automatic transmission (sux) open differential (sux) and most all options except power mirrors, Infinity sound, and the light package that puts a light under the hood, dash and in the glove box.  It even came with the Mopar Roll Pan!  I bought this truck in June of 98. It was my first truck purchase. I previously drove a 90 Dakota, but after 8 years of hard driving, it finally couldn't take anymore!  This truck is great!  It is one of the fastest stock trucks you can buy, next to the R/T Dakota and the Ford Lightning (not even close!)  I have never run at the track, nor do I plan to, but I learned how to use the G Tech accurately and ran a best of 15.49 at 89.xx mph.  I am sure there are others who could pilot this ride better than me, but I am just not into drag racing.

• Flowmaster dual outlet 2 chamber exhaust, with Mustang style exit (custom made)

• K&N Generation II clone, Po-Boy intake as it is know as on the DML

• Stockland fiberglass bed cover with carpet kit for the bed

• Lund wiper cowl

• Street Scenes upper and lower Speed Grilles  

• Street Scenes Cal Vu manual mirrors

• Dakota R/T 17" rims and tires

• All factory stickers were changed from red to silver metallic

• La. White Tail Deer license plate

• HD NUKLHED plate on the front (like my dog)

• 13' Trailer with a 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660!
