Found a few pics of my 88 Honda 250x. It had to be the BEST ATV I have ever owned! If I found one in good shape, and at a reasonable price, I would snatch it up quick! 

Didn't do too many mods that I can remember. I put new tires on it just before I sold it. They were Blackwaters for the rear and Fast Trekkers for the front.  I recall replacing the rear bearings several times.. that was about the only problems it ever had.  One time I was doing donuts and the chain popped off the sprocket.. it then jammed up against the engine casing and crack a hole in it. This caused all the oil to drain out.. well, I drove it all the way home, about 3 miles, on the blacktop. I then patched the hole with JB Weld and filled the oil back up.. drove it until I sold it.  Man, you just can't beat a "bullet proof" Honda engine!
